RECIPE FOR MAKING ROASTED RICE MILK TEA
Ingredient
- 25gr fragrant rice
- 25gr brown rice
- 1 pack Luave Oolong Tea
- 600gr hot water
- 150gr MT35 cream powder
- 100g sugar
- 200gr ice cubes
How to do it
Step 1 : Roast the rice
Mix the two types of rice together and roast over medium heat until the rice turns slightly golden brown, then turn off the heat. Dry the rice at room temperature until it cools completely, then grind it and store it in an airtight container.
Step 2: Making roasted rice milk tea
- Soak 50gr of roasted rice flour mixture with 200ml of hot water for 20 minutes, then filter through a sieve to get the roasted rice water mixture.
- Soak 1 Luave tea bag in 600ml of hot filtered water for 15 minutes. Gently pat both sides of the tea bag to allow the water to penetrate deep into the tea bag, helping to fully extract the nutrients in the tea.
- After 15 minutes, we start patting the tea bag one more time to help the substances in the tea be completely extracted into the water thoroughly.
- Filter tea -> Add the mixture of “MT35 powder and sugar” into hot tea water and stir for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, add the roasted rice water mixture and stir well again.
- Finally, add 200g of ice cubes and stir until the ice melts completely. We get 900ml of milk tea essence.
